Add Links to Your Site For Improved SEO
Lately we have been talking a lot about link-building. In short, search engines value sites that have links coming into them from other sites, and particularly those from other high quality sites.
But link-building can be tough, and time consuming. It isn't always easy to convince other people to link to your website. Many site owners don't realize they have some great link-building opportunities right in front of them.
Some of these opportunities include your social media profiles, blogs, and the websites you might have set up related to membership organizations, family communication, or other more personal sites. Adding links that go from one or more of these sources to your site is a good thing!
Keep in mind that the specific link text that you use makes a difference. Link text should include the keyword phrases you are trying to get ranked for (but don't overdo it with your keyword phrases). An example of using keywords in your link text would be: "You can learn more about this topic by visiting the "Learn" section of our website and viewing the webinar on link-building for eCommerce".
