Clean Up Your Social Media Profile Links
As a small business owner, you probably find yourself pulled in a million directions when it comes to managing and marketing your business. Sometimes you might find that you donít have the time or energy to maintain your presence across several social media channels. In the spirit of spring cleaning, take a moment to evaluate your social media presence and figure out which profiles you can either remove or vamp up.
First, remove your unused social media profiles and links from your website. It doesnít do you much good to promote a link to a completely empty Twitter feed or Pinterest page with no pins. You donít have to delete your profile, but you probably donít want it on your website if you are not actively updating it.
Cross-posts are better than no posts. Yes, of course itís ideal to come up with original content targeted to the audience of each platform, but tailoring all your social media channels is a huge time commitment. Maybe you are very active on Instagram and Facebook, but thatís all you have time for. Link your Facebook and Instagram accounts to your Twitter account so that your Twitter feed isnít empty.
