Add a Sitewide Holiday Message to Your Site
The Marketing Bites team has taken an extended break. Did you miss us? We are glad to be back, providing you with weekly actionable tips. You can always browse through our archive of previous Marketing Bites to see our complete collection of web marketing ideas.
The holiday season is underway, and one option you have for adding a timely personal touch to your website is to create a sitewide holiday message that appears at the top of every page. This is an easy way to make your website feel current, spread some cheer, and inform users about shipping costs, deadlines or in-store hours. While dressing your site up with holiday images is always a good idea, if you donít have the time or skills to create or upload festive graphics, donít let that dampen your holiday cheer. A simple, text-based message can be effective. Donít forget to set a reminder to remove your message once the holidays are over.If you are a MightyMerchant customer, you can use the Messages feature to add a sitewide message. If you need help, just ask us.
