Site Beat - MightyMerchant Monthly Newsletter > May 2008

Greetings From MightyMerchant.

Spring springs ahead faster than we can keep up, sometimes. Since we're only a three days into June, we think it's still safe to call this the May newsletter! Stay tuned for some other big announcements coming up in the next two weeks. In this month's SiteBeat we bring you the results from last month's survey. We invited our clients to rate their preferences for certain features MightyMerchant was considering integrating into our ecommerce platform, and we have compiled the results to share with you.

We received a few comments in the survey about some of you not being familiar with Google Checkout, so we have included some information about how it works.

Our TechTip this month is regarding the ability to see where your orders are coming from. We welcome some new clients to the MightyMerchant family, and introduce you to one that has been with us for a while. Our Client Profile this month features JustLiving.net, sellers of organic products including mattresses and bedding.

Thanks for reading SiteBeat!

-- Using Flash slideshows on your site

We have had an increased demand for Flash slideshows on our sites. In response have come up with a great new system that allows our customers to load and swap images through the Site Manager and have the images display inside of a Flash slideshow on the site.

For an example, see Green-Building.com.

As part of our effort to reach out to the local business community, we participated in the Eugene Chamber of Commerce Biz Expo on May 22nd. The event drew quite a crowd and we had a great time meeting new people and learning about other area businesses. We were pleased with the level of interest the show sparked in our services. Locally, we're promoting our MightyMerchant platform and suite of services as HEROWeb Marketing and Design. You can find out more at Hero-Web.com.
