You can use categories to highlight seasonal specials or special offers. You'll organize your site using categories. Our category system is flexible and powerful. You can add, remove or rearrange categories and sub-categories any time.
The most common use of categories is to allow people to shop by product type. For example, a shoe store might set up categories for Men's, Women's, Girl's and Boy's shoes.
MightyMerchant allows you to put each product in multiple categories. This means you can enter the data for the product once (like the photo, pricing and description) but have it appear on many pages of your web site. For example, the shoe store might add a category for 'Spring Specials' and add shoes from any of the other categories to it.
