Tech Tip -- Adding gift messages and notes to the PDF receipts and packing slips generated in the Order Manager

Here's a quick 'how-to' on adding gift messages and notes to the PDF receipts and packing slips that are generated in the Order Manager.

Some of your customers may wish to add a gift message to their order. It's nice to at least offer this option, and if they do add a gift message, you of course want to include that with their gift order. It is easy to add this message to the packing slips generated in your Order Manager, and here's what you do:

First, in the Order Manager, click on the order number (NOT the camera icon) in the left column. Copy the information that is shown in the Gift Message field and paste it in the field labeled "Note for Receipt & Packing Slips." You can include any other information you want in this field as well, such as the gift giver's name and address.

If you want to add a general message to ALL packing slips and receipts, use the "Store PDF Note" field in your Site Manager under "settings." If you don't have this field available under "settings," let us know and we can quickly make it available.
