Show items in multiple categories
The ability to place your items in multiple categories is a great marketing tool.
Organize your categories based on how your customers shop. By suggesting appropriate product groupings, your customers will be drawn into your site and browse through products that they may not have encountered otherwise.
Another method allows you to select "Categorize Items" for any category. Let's say you create a new category called 'Gifts'. Now you want to be able to add several items from your existing catalog to the new category. Simply choose "Categorize Items" from the drop down menu for this category.
Next you can select any item from your catalog that you'd like to appear in your new Gift category.
Cool! This feature works for Content Managed sites as well as eCommerce. For example, you could have a news item that is also selected to show as an announcement on your homepage.
