Industry News -- Google Business Search

Google recently announced a new feature allowing business sites to have their own custom search engine. This service is not free. Google charges $100 per year for up to 5,000 pages, but it is a reasonable fee for good reporting info and customizable code.

Google's Custom Search Business Edition (CSBE), provides "Google-quality," and fast, relevant results for visitors to your website.

Once the search engine is added to your website, there's nothing more to do to manage it. Basic Reports allow you to see how often people search with your search engine, and what people are searching for on your site, which allows you to tailor content to what your visitors are looking for.
